I’m Ele Long (@oubergine), a freelance children’s illustrator and designer based in Ireland. After years in graphic and motion design, I decided to follow my heart and dive fully into children’s illustration.

My work is all about capturing the fun, wonder and endless imagination of childhood. I find inspiration in nature and everyday moments, always seeing the potential for a new story to unfold. With a love for all things cute and cuddly, I try to infuse a little sweetness into everything I create.

While I mostly work digitally these days, I still enjoy the feel of a pencil in hand. I love adding subtle textures and a touch of noise to my work, giving each piece its own unique character and encouraging a closer look at the details.

When I’m not busy drawing, you’ll find me with a cozy cup of tea, reading stories, and sharing scribbles with my little ones.
